He’s one of Nigeria’s best  “behind the curtain” session men and artiste manager whose name rings more bell than his face. And just like what he does-voicing to earn a living, he’s also passionate about his privacy and, in fact, humility is one of his watch words. That’s Moshood Adegboro for you, one of the nation’s best, in the trade of voice-over-artistry. The unassuming youngman is the voice behind most of the popular jingles you listen to on radio and Televisions.

The graduate of the Lagos State University who hails from Ikorodu, Lagos has worked for quite a number of several notable media agencies such as STB Mcann, 141 Worldwide, B3 Communications to mention but a few before he set up his own firm, Greenpage Communications where he’s the CEO.

How A Pastor, Wife Escaped Abuja Bomb Blast By Air Breath

It must have been the grace of God that saved Pastor Avanti Jonas and his wife, Alice who escaped the bomb explosion that rocked the federal capital territory this evening leaving scores dead and many injured. It was a gory scene as rescue workers had to rush victims to the Abuja general hospital in droves.

National Enquirer gathered that the Pastor and his wife who got married last year, 2013 had gone to pick just few stuff at the popular, Emab Plaza which was the original target of the suicide bombers before it escalated and spread to Banex. And since the couple wasn’t buying so much, they agreed that the wife sit back in front of their Toyota 4 x 4 truck which was parked directly opposite the plaza while the Pasto- hubby quickly dashed in.

And no sooner the Pastor left the shopping centre than the bomb exploded and the man of God escaped by the whiskers thinking that his wife had been caught in the web of the disaster. According to an eye witness account, the pastor had even started mourning his wife, crying uncontrollably at the sight of a corpse which looked like his wife until he saw the watch on the woman left wrist, he was later convinced the corpse was not his wife.

Meanwhile, the wife too was so confused and thought her husband had perished in the bomb blast but as fate would have it, they finally saw each other and gave thanks to the Almighty. The wife, we gathered had to run for dear life by squeezing herself out of the window of the truck, the windshield got shattered and the truck was almost a total wreck. The couple who run Hephzibah church located in Kado area of Abuja has since been full of praise for the amazing wonder and second chance the Lord has given them.

Shall We Tell Mr. President His Ground Breaking Records?

The President and Commander-In-Chief of the Nigerian armed forces, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan would have surpassed his predecessors on ground breaking records if not held for being most notorious in the anal of administrative hegemony in this country.  The Veterinary doctor and once-upon-a-time University of Port-Harcourt lecturer turned President has sure given the nation and the global village enough conviction of his government’s stagnancy or rather put thus; a bunch of democrats bereft of quality directorial compass.

At least Nigerians won’t forget in a hurry, the boisterously vocal attitude of her presumed Masters’ degree holder-wife,  Dame Patience whose several public utterances have had cause to embarrass not just the person of the president and his retinue of intellectual aides but the nation as a whole. In fact, the issue of the president’s wife is a story for another day; but had I been one of his advisers, I would have recommended that, a technical crew of script writers, movie directors and cameramen be permanently attached to the First Lady, most especially anytime she needs to make a speech. The reason for this is to make sure her speech is well doctored like having her prepared for dry-run, take one, two, three, close-up, cut, before eventual editing for public viewing or listening as the case maybe.

President Jonathan has indeed broken enough records for archival reference. Where do we start from, an administration that recorded the highest numbers of lost lives to political violence, large scale corruptions in his government, giving state pardons to undeserved suspects/convicts, trivializing the nation’s highest honour, using state apparatus to witch-hunt perceived enemies to mention but a view.

Critics say the president has done it again! Fixing a square peg in a round hole. They opine that in his apathetical approach of allowing political sentiments to becloud his constitutional judgment, Goodluck Jonathan has once again appointed a society party maker to take over a serious agency like the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA.

Mrs. Roli Adeniyi-George, a society lady and erstwhile Ankara model who represented a moribund brand of local prints came to limelight when her alleged romance with the controversial man of God, Rev. Chris Okotie became a public knowledge; she is the newest head honcho of the NDLEA-what a funny appointment you’d say.

Before now, Roli by powers conferred on her ex-convict-hubby, though he’s been given state pardon by this administration, she was given a board slot as a national Commissioner at the National Population Commission. This and other frivolous governmental decisions that lack any intellectual values are yardsticks nominating the Jonathan administration as debatably capable of running the affairs of this nation in wrong directions.

No one is beefing Mrs. George for being compensated for being one of the wives of one of those that have the President’s ears but for God’s sake, those advising the President should tell him he needs to start putting a right peg in a right hole. We’re quite aware that, the 2015 strategy has begun and he (Jonathan) needs to appease the gods to curry favour to retain the seat but a Roli Adeniyi would have been pleased with a less critical post than the NDLEA plum job.

A post like that of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency is so delicate and deserves an experienced thoroughbred professional of sterling qualities, even if not in a related field but somebody of an authority, to steer its ship. No one is doubting or casting aspersion on the credentials or capability of the revered person of Mrs. Bode George but antecedents should play a prominent role when deciding the fate of some fragile positions.

A quick glance at the track records of the agency’s immediate past boss, Femi Ajayi revealed that, the man who’s flaunting an enviable credential is a multi-disciplinary professional (biochemist, journalist and international law expert) and until that appointment, he was the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Development Cooperation and Diaspora Relations.

And prior to that, Mr. Ajayi had previously served with the Department For International Development (DFID) as a Senior Communication Specialist at DFID-ProPCom; Resident Coordination Specialist of the United System (2005/2006); UNICEF Communication Consultant for HIV/AIDS (2001); National Professional Officer for Communication and Informatics for UNESCO (1999/2001);   United Nations Information Centre (1992 to 1999), Science Editor/Member of the Editorial Board of Daily Times (1987/90), and Media Consultant to the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) (1991) and so on.

It is so obvious that, all these are political gimmicks to foster support from every nook and crannies of the nation. And now that the political game is at its crescendo, there have been clandestine strategies to witch-hunt personalities perceived to be in enemy’s camp or people superficial to putting clogs in the wheel of the 2015 progress.

There’s no doubting the fact that, the celebrated case of N446.3 billion theft charges dropped against the late Abacha’s son, Mohammed by a federal high court earlier in the week and the rumoured attempt to arrest the newly crowned Emir of Kano, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi are all calculated moves to massage and cow political allies as the case may be.

All we want is peace and unity in the country and we pray God continue to enrich Mr. President’s thinking faculty and that of his retinue of intellectual advisers. Lastly, in the word of Criss Jami “With too much pride a man cannot learn a thing. In and of itself, learning teaches you how foolish you are.”

Pastor Ighodalo’s Wife, Ibidun Ajayi In Kidnap Mess!

Ibidun Ajayi, the very beautiful wife of celebrated pastor of Trinity House fame, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo is sure in dire need of being in custody of children, and this, she will do with her last breath, a reliable family source has just confided in National Enquirer. The wife of the general overseer of the Trinity House we gathered is presently involved in a kidnap mess.

According to National Enquirer’s impeccable source, the University of Lagos graduate and former Lux beauty Queen, Ibidun who’s the brain behind one of Nigeria’s most patronized event outfits, Elizabeth R is said to have illegally taken custody of her brother’s 3 children, Zion, Zalem and Zephan (All boys)  without their mother’s consent.

Our dependable source disclosed that, Ibidun conspired with her blood brother, Dare Ajayi who’s having an irreconcilable misunderstanding with his wife, Lamide Agunloye to cunningly pick the children from school before the woman who has been singlehandedly taken care of the kids could get to pick them, a case some people have termed to be tantamount to the condemnable Chibok scandal.

It was exclusively disclosed to this office that Dare Ajayi and his estranged wife Olamide Agunloye ended their once blissful union following series of counter accusations on both sides with infidelity and maltreatment being his ex-wife,   major grouse.

We further gathered that Dare had briefed his celebrity and influential sister of his decision to retrieve his kids from their mum and because of her status in the society coupled with richness, the Pastor’s wife, we were told had promised to help me out and get custody of the kids by fire by force.

This, we learnt was sequel to his estranged wife’s  refusal to allow the kids go on holidays at his place since he has stopped taken care of the kids’ responsibilities, the woman we gathered had been the one vending for her wards.

Dare, the close family source hinted had frowned at his former wife’s effrontery and had in turn vowed to use any means possible to have possession of the kids and would never allow the woman have access to them again, a threat his ex-took with a pinch of salt.

Ms Agunloye however got the shocker of her life when she was reportedly told that her ex -husband had come to pick her kids from their school in Abuja.  The most intriguing aspect of the saga, we further gathered was that he allegedly flew the kids to his sister, Ibidun’s house in Lagos. Ibidun, the source revealed has since taken the position of Lamide as the kids who now stay with her amidst tight security call her mum. The soft spoken entrepreneur, also  ensures the kids go everywhere with her including Church services, fun places like the Palms, Lekki, Ozone Cinema, Shoprite and the rest.

Ms. Lamide Agunloye however tried to see her kids as she visited the Ighodalo’s home following an information that her kids are with the sister-in-law, but she was denied entrance by their tight security who disgraced and sent her away from the vicinity without wasting any time.
In an effort to get the story balanced, we tried to get a response from Mrs. Ibidun Ighodalo but her reply was rudely shocking, we didn’t expect such an attitude from a presumed respected woman of her status, as a celebrity, she should have appreciated the fact that we took the pains to get in touch with her in the first place and use the opportunity to put the record straight, but we guess there’s no one to be put straight, this is what ensued between Ibidun and this office, “hello madam, please we’re calling from National Enquirer, eh! National what? National Enquirer ma, yes, what can I do for you, it’s regarding a story that you’re having custody of your brother’s children without their mum’s consent, please, please, I don’t want to say anything about my brother and his marriage because I have high respect for him and besides I don’t know how the story is connected to me”. “And am sorry to say this but please you can go ahead and write whatever you want to write”, as she hung up on us.
